خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, young modulus and bending modulus of multi layered graphene sheet is derived with the finite element method and considering of the effect of van der waals force between graphene sheet layers. In this regard, with modeling of covalent and van der waals bond between carbon atoms, bending modulus of multi layered graphene sheet is derived. The results show that the van der waals force has a few effects on the young modulus and bending modulus. The results show that the Young modulus of multi layered graphene sheet doesn’t depend on the number of layers, whereas the bending modulus of multi layered graphene sheet decreases with increasing the number of layeres. Additionally, Increasing of number of layers hasn't any effect on young modulus. Indeed, van der waals bonds, haven't effect on stretching of the graphite, because van der waals bond is very weaker than covalent bond and most of force in stretching is borned with covalent bond. The results show that the bending modulus of two layered graphite is about 0.11TPa and the Bending modulus of multi layered graphite is attained 0.01TPa which has good agreement with some experimental results.
