چکیده مقاله:

Shirin is dignified as a mistress in Nizami’s story. She was goddess of the moon and hunting. Her personality is bold and she talks powerfully against men. She tried to achieve goals independently. Shirin like Artemis was strong, unreachable and faithful. Despite all the ups and downs in the path of her love, and with attention to significant differences between the cultures East and West, Shirin’s personality has a lot in common with Artemis’s personality. But in the story, even the poet does not tolerate Artemis and Shirin's personalities and he suppresses Shirin’s love and her loyalty. But despite these contradictions, we cannot ignore audacity power and modesty in shirin’s character.
