Organizational sport managers’ personal competence in management skills based on Buatsis, Schroeder & Luthanz models

چکیده مقاله:

Background: This research is done with the goal of determining the organizational sport managers’ personal competence in management skills.Materials and Methods: It’s based on Buatsis, Schroeder (1982) & Luthanz (1988), the (statistical) population included 3 groups of managers; senior, middle & operationalmanagers in sport & youth department of Isfahan & directors of sport & youth department in cities & president & vice presidents & board secretary sport of Isfahan in2014 that are estimated 185 persons based on staffing unit information of each organization. Regarding to the Morgan table of determines sampler volume (Rahimi &Zamani, 2009). The tools of research included 2 questionnaires that made by researcher;managers competence & standard questionnaire of Mishel’s personal characteristics For measuring the personal competence of managers of 5 questions standard questionnaire ofMishel’s personal characteristics as introverted & extroverted & 52 questions of questionnaire for measuring the managers’ knowledge & professional information, skills & attitudes & insights with stability 0.91. For analyzing the data was used descriptivestatistics; mean, median, posing SD, related diagrams & in the deductive statistics levels were used Smirnov’s test & Lovin’s test & parametric tests included single in Alphalevel 0.05. Results and Discussions: the results showed that knowledge level & professional information of senior managers are more than average level & middle & operational managers are lower than average level (P=0.00). The amount of intellectual &behavioralskills & level of attitude & insight were higher than average in each 3 groups (P=0.00), middle managers were meaningful introvert about personal characteristics (p=0.48) &there is no significant difference among senior & operational managers in introvert & extrovert level (P> 0.05). Conclusion: Also the results showed that the effective of personal competence will be increased based on the Beta coefficient increased unit in intellectual & behavioral skill level.
