Study and Investigation of Traditional usages of Some Important Medicine plants of Zabol Conuty

Ethnobotany research is a valuable guide to identify medicinal plants and herbal medicines. The aim of this study is to identify and evaluate ethnobotany of some of the Zabol city medicinal plants widely used by local people in the treatment and prevention of diseases. The research method is based on field surveys, beliefs and local people traditions and documentary studies. In this study, 15 species of plants in 11 families were identified. Some herbs such as Colocynth, fennel, Eucalyptus, Ajowan and purslane is known by many people using as medicine plants. Due to the limited resources in the country, development of employment plans management based on the cultivation of medicinal plants adapted to local ecological conditions, would have maximize the productivity and it may has role in conservation of valuable endangered medicine plants.
