Human capital, Natural capital and Economic Growth in Iran: A Time Series Analysis

The idea that human capital plays an important role in explaining income differences has been present in economists’ thinking for a long time. Humancapital is a complex theoretical concept that is not defined in a uniform manner. Unfortunately, mainly due to problems of data availability, the empirical researchwhich is the focus of this paper has been limited to studying the impact of formal education on economic growth. Recent theoretical contributions to the growthliterature emphasize the role of human capital in the process of economic growth. Meanwhile, the empirical literature on the link between human capital, Natural capital and growth has changed course several times over the last decade. So, this paper examined human capital and natural capital effects on economic growth of Iran at 1978 to 2012. According to Results , effect of human capital was positiveand significant and effect of natural capital was positive too, but in difference significant level
