Role in rural development and agriculture Gis Geographic Information

Understanding the issues is very important villages of Iran . The root of many problems , including widespread poverty and backwardness , Nabrayry , rapid population growth and rising unemployment in rural areas is located. Villages and rural areas as a focus of community life and a large part of the population centers of food production plays an important role in food security , employment , self-sufficiency , national immigration control and sustainable development . Meanwhile, information and communication technologies as a new phenomenon in all walks of life and all areas of society, economy , society and culture has left a great impact . Therefore, a comprehensive development plan for rural areas based on the latest scientific information technologies is essential. Geographic Information System (GIS), as a valuable tool in planning and careful countless benefits of rural and agricultural development and conservation of natural resources and the environment. This study seeks to illustrate some aspects of the application and use of GIS in rural development. This is a descriptive study and a review of written sources search on the internet and database information is provided.
