Comparison of Theree Laboratory Methods for Enumerating Escherichia coli in Different Water resources

Through out different microbial detection methods, multiple fermentation tube (Traditional and direct techniques) and plate count with certain culture media are common. Pour plate count using eosinmethylenblue(EMB) was evaluated comparatively with the traditional and directs multiple tub fermentation e (MTF) techniques enumerating thermotolerant bacteria and Escherichia coli in water resources. The type of study is descriptive and analytical. According to a pilot study 60 samples were analyzed through three microbial laboratory methods.
