چکیده مقاله:

This study investigated the relationship between neuro-linguistics programmingand anxiety and self-steem among Iranian pre-intermediate EFL learners. Sixty six preintermediateEFL learners involved in this study. The researcher selected randomly fourclasses. She used old methods for teaching control group and she used NLP and oldmethods for experimental group. Before she started the treatment, she gave the experimental group a demographic questionnaire, and then the experimental groupreceived NLP treatment while the control group did not receive it. After six weeks theyanswered posttest and the researcher wanted them to answer the anxiety and self -steemquestionnaire. The experimental group also answered the perceptions and reactions aboutthe NLP. After that, she collected the data from both groups, and she started to analysis thedata by SPSS .The results of this study indicated that the NLP treatment did not have anysignificant effect on language anxiety for the experimental group, but NLP can helpexperimental group to increase their self-steem. The perceptions of experimental groupwere completely positive. These findings explain that NLP can have some effects onlearning EFL.
