Some Issues of Modeling a Prototype of Damper Valve of Automatic Operation

With the help of damper valves of automatic operation being stationarily placed along the weir connections of dams and other outflow structures on existing and to-be-built reservoirs it is possible to increase the useful volume of a reservoir up to the maximum damper horizon of a particular reservoir. The damper valve is metallic and is assembled in a rectangular metallic frame and placed in partitions of the outflow structure. Depending on the duration of flood flow, damper valves placed side by side open and close several times without any interference by the operator, when the water rises to the boundary level and, eventually closing, ensure accumulation of additional volume of water in the reservoir.
