چکیده مقاله:

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are one of the most commonly used nanomaterials. AgNPs are used incoating or embedding for medical purposes . In addition to their medical uses, AgNPs are also usedin clothing, the food industry, paints, electronics and other field . Despite their widespread use, thereis a serious lack of information concerning the toxicity of AgNPs to humans and their underlyingcellular actions.In vitro studies reported that Ag NPs produced toxicity targeted a variety of organsincluding the lung, liver, brain, vascular system and reproductive organs. Ag NP induced theexpression level of genes involved in cell cycle progression and apoptosis. Possible mechanisms ofAg NP toxicity include induction of ROS, oxidative stress, DNA damage and apoptos.Alsodescribed exposure of Ag NPs in vitro mammal toxicity and several factors influence the ability ofa metal to produce toxic effects.Ag Speciation in freshwater and seawater investigated.This reviewsummarized the cytotoxic effects of Ag NPs on health and environment.
