چکیده مقاله:

The granular activated carbon (GAC) was used as an adsorbent for its ability to remove manganese (Mn) from industrial wastewater by batch experiments. Various thermodynamic parameters such as ΔGº, ΔHº and ΔSº have been calculated. The thermodynamics of Mn onto GAC system indicates spontaneous and exothermic nature of the process. Finally, Three kinetic models of adsorption have been investigated that shows matching between the Pseudo second order equation and our experiment results
