The gravimetric method applies to the determination of uranium in UF4,UFG,U02 AUC or (NJ34)U02(C03) and the oxygen to uranium (O/U) atomlc ratio in sintered uranium dioxid powders by ignition in muffle furnace capable of maintining a temperature of 900Co.This test method placed the platinum crucible containing the UF4,UF6, U02 and AUC powder samples in a muffle furnace and ignite for 3 h at 900Co.This method a weighed portion of UF4,UF6, U02 and AUC is converted to U308 by ignition at 900 Co in oxygen pressure or air to constant weight.This method also is applied to U03 and U308 powders
