چکیده مقاله:

Wind is caused by differential heating of the earth’s surface by the sun. It has been estimated that roughly 10 millionMW of energy are continuously available in the earth’s wind. Over the past 10 years, offshore wind energy has becomea major focus wind energy research and deployment. Although current technology has been based mainly on land-based wind turbine designs, more turbines are being designed specifically for offshore applications. The rapid growth of offshore wind applications has presented new challenges to wind turbine engineers. Technology unique to offshore oil and gas industry must be joined with the design technology for wind turbines. In this paper, modeling of wind turbines in the sea conditions especially with consideration to economic issues are expressed and compared on various mechanical and electrical structures
