In this paper an attempt has been made to investigate the effect of stator transient terms on synchronous generator transient and dynamic behaviour. Stator transient terms in dq frame of reference, usually called the rate of change of stator flux linkages (Pill, Pile) are appeared in stator equation in Park’s model (dq model) . inclusion and wxclusion and exclusion Pad and yields the 7th and 5th order models for synchronous generator . in this paper 7th and 5th order models are applied for synchronous generator is equipped with A.V.R,PSS and turbine governor sets. For simulation purposes it is assumed the synchronous generator delivers power to infinite bus bar.
