The method of the cooling system control has a direct effect on transformer thermal performance. So, it is possible to avoid undesired operational conditions such as accelerated insulation ageing and critical hot spot temperature to some extent by effective control of cooling system. In this paper, the method of transformer cooling control by online monitoring system is addressed. Also, advantages of this control scheme over
traditional method are discussed and demonstrated by simulation results.
