چکیده مقاله:

Increasing use of nonlinear loads in industry and their accompanying contrary side effects such as profit deficit to customers have caused many economic and power quality problems to arise. Harmonic currents drawn from utility as a consequence of utilization nonlinear loads can be considered as one of these causes which are purified using shunt passive, active or hybrid filters. Multicell converters are a very appropriate alternative for medium voltage and high power applications. So implementation of flying capacitor multicellconverters (FCMCs) based shunt active power filters using artificial neural network is investigated in this paper. State-space representation of FCMCs is also derived. Numerical solution of these timedomain differential equations leads to acquire flying capacitors transient and steady state voltages and converter output voltage. Experimental results of 5 level FCMC is also given in the paper.
