The paper provides a critical review of a new approach to the foundation of computer ethics E (CE), introduced by Luciano Floridi. In his papers, he introduces "Information ethics" (IE) as the foundation of CE L -1 which is the better approach in comparison to the other ethical theories. IE is the extension of environmental ethics, based on the concepts of information object, infosphere and entropy. The latter is deferent from the one used in thermodynamic. In this paper, taking a closer look at these papers, this new approach towards CE would be evaluated.
