Most information systems today are under increasing pressure to increase the quality, efficiency and monitoring procedures. Therefore, the technologies and architectures are needed to solve problems with accuracy, faster and more efficient. We describe a general purpose architecture and data model that is designed for collecting ambulatory data from various existing devices and systems, as well as for storing and presenting significant information. This paper proposes a Web-based system that integrates RFID and multi-agent Technologies in information systems. We concentrated on the RFID technology and how it could be used in electronic data exchange in order to identify entities and to achieve real time information concerning the user’s biometric data, which might be used in different points of the system. Every information system could use this architecture with their existing system in order to promote user safety and optimize system workflow.
