چکیده مقاله:

With the mechanization of the present world, reduced physical activity and increasedconsumption of fatty foods, fast foods, and as well as smoking, incidence ofcardiovascular diseases has increased greatly in different population. Coronary heartdisease is one of the most common cardiovascular diseases. The most importanttreatment option, in this kind of diseases, is to prevent the increase of LDLcholesterol. In this regard, the group of statin drugs can be regarded as the appropriatedrug in decreasing LDL cholesterol and thus in reducing the risk of coronary arterydiseases are as a drug for the treatment of this complication.In this research, the kind of method which is based on fuzzy logic is used for determiningthe amount of suitable statin drug for coronary artery patient on the basis of patient’sdemographic characteristics. In spite of each dose of drug has its unique useful effects,it also has harmful effects on normal or healthy cells. So it has been tried to determinethe appropriate dose in order to not only increase the better outcome but also eliminateits harmful side effects simultaneously.The amount of medication in proposed method has been compared with the amountprescribed by doctors. The results show the effectiveness of proposed method.
