Solving linear differential equations using Laguerre spectral method

In this paper, two linear differential equation models with Neumann boundary conditions have been solved using Laguerre-Galerkin spectral method. In this approach, unlike classical spectral method, we use combination of Laguerre functions as basis functions so that all the boundary conditions would be satisfied. In one-dimensional model, choosing these basis functions leads to a three diagonal matrix with a low condition number. Numerical results demonstrate the efficiency of this approach.
