خلاصه مقاله:
Quality management has gained a lot of attention in management literature in last three decades. One of the important questions in this domain is the relation between quality management practices and firm and individual performance. Many research papers have investigated this issue from different aspects. In this paper, first, a review of literature of TQM practices and firm performance will be presented. According to quality management, marketing and operations management's literature, firm characteristics (size, maturity of TQM implementation, organizational structure), marketing orientation and some other contextual variables (macro variables such as business and economic environment and national culture) will be discussed as moderators in the relation of TQM implementation and firm performance. Finally, an integrated conceptual model will be presented which explains relation between TQM practices and firm performance and the role of intervening factors, based on existing literature.
