CMMS Implementation by using Prototyping Methodology A case study in RAJA Passenger Trains Company

Today, use and implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is being considerably increased day by day within the enterprises. The reason for this is the confirmed advantages and interests yielded from the application and implementation of such systems for the economic organizations and enterprises. Of course, the effectiveness rate resulted from the application and implementation of the maintenance management systems has a direct relation with its implementation and execution style such that if it is not identified and precise and full definition is made in case of the need and the functional requirements from the said system as well as in case of its basic and practical planning and implementation in line with supplying the demands and requirements, the project more likely will fail in supplying and obtaining competitive advantages and this even may result in a challenge and problem within the organization in its serious states.In this article, it is tried to investigate and design a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) enjoying prototyping approach.
