خلاصه مقاله:
This study evaluates the effect of additives in diesel and of AdditiveGas oil blends on the properties of density, viscosity, characteristics at cold temperatures, Cetane number, flash point, Boiling point and performance in engine tests. An additive used to keep the blends homogenous and stable, and an Ignition improver, which can enhance Cetane number in additive Gas oil blends. The Formulations were carried out with 5, 7.5 and 10% v/v of Additive starting from a base diesel. The results indicate that the EXEE (2ethoxy ethyl ether) and TAEE (Tertiary amyl ethyl ether)act as Cosolvents of ethanol in diesel. The presence of ethanol and MXEE (2Methoxy ethyl ether) significantly alter the characteristics of volatility (flashpoint and distillation curve) and increase the Cetane number, improving the fuel’s performance in engine tests.
