PSEUDO DYNAMIC TESTING OF A RC FRAME RETROFITTED WITH CHEVRON BRACE

this study explains the experimental investigation of chevron braces as a strengthening technique to improve the performance of seismically deficient two story three bay reinforced concrete RC frames for this purpose one reference and one strengthened frame were tested under constant gravity load and pseudo dynamic test procedure using duzce ground mtion record . peak groun acceleration of the duzce record was scaled to 50 , 100 and 140% for the purpose of the damage observations at the each scaled accelerations.
