There is a short time (golden time) for making quick decisions to prevent fatal increase of earthquake disaster and bringing it under control. There are different methods to recognize and detect damages necessary for making such decisions. In this paper, unmanned aerial remote sensing is compared with other recognition methods in terms of detecting and assessing the earthquake damages. During the process of this study, it has become clear that unmanned aerial remote sensing method can be of use to earthquake disaster management because it results in high precision data with more details than other direct and independent recognition ones.
