STRENGTH AND TIGHTNESS TEST PROGRAMME FOR HERMETIC EN- CLOSURE SYSTEM (STEEL CONTAINMENT) OF WWER-1000 NPP

In this study Strength and tightness test for Hermetic Enclosure System (HES) for NPP Steel Confinement was performed . This Programme specifies the list of work to be done at sub-stage A-2 Confinement strength and tightness tests , the scope, sequence and technique of preparation for, and carrying-out of, strength and tightness tests of HES including the check of containment deflected mode, preparedness of APCS equipment, test completion criteria. in all accessible locations, where acoustic-emission check identified the sources of acoustic emission of I, II, III or IV-class as per acoustic-emission monitoring regulations; in the welded joints located in the places with the maximum parameters of deflected mode based on measurement results.
