THE STUDY AND DELIVERING A PROPER SOLUTION FOR PROTECTING THE CORROSION IN COOLING TOWERS

In this study we are checking the performance of AMP complex with Zinc and Moly date in three cooling towers’ water with different hardness and corrosion. For this purpose, a properphosphate base for protecting the steel in water is made by the AMP compound with phosphate and inhibitor poly phosphate. Then three different types of polymers are added to the prepared synthesis inhibitor and we check their interception performances in waters with electrical conductivity of 6000μs/Cm, 3000 μs/Cm, 5000 μs/Cm, in three different PHS on plain carbon steel. In a next step the Zinc and Moly date inhibitors with various concentrations is added to above mentioned inhibitors, and performance in mentioned water is checked each synthesis inhibitor. The DC polarization, electron andmicroscope tests and EDAX analyse are used for the study on the performance of inhibitors. The testresults show that adding Zinc and Moly date caused the AMP inhibition efficiency and the inhibition efficiency is related to Zinc and Moly date concentration.
