چکیده مقاله:

A reliable infrastructure is a key to an Industry’s economic growth. As a result, the infrastructure should be maintained, which includes its sewer system and pipeline in different industries. The prevention of internal corrosion, erosion, pitting, befouling, general degradation is vital to the reliable performance of the piping Systems. The use of CIPP technique can reduce environmental impact, social costs and at the same time provide economic alternatives to traditional open cut methods of installation, renewal or repair. Essential to the success of such methods are training, thorough site survey, planning, material and equipment choice. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) is the generic term used to describe the class of pipe lining techniques whereby a polymeric pipe lining is directly cast against the inside wall of a deteriorating host pipe. A thermosetting resin is impregnated at ambient temperature outside a flexible (commonly polyester felt) tube with a cross sectional perimeter equal to the inner circumference of the host pipe. The tube is then pressure inverted against the wall of the host pipe from a suitable access point, and heated in-situ (using water, steam or air) to cure the resin, thus forming a structurally competent lining. Once the liner is in place, the water circulating through the pipe is heated to harden and cure the resin, producing a hard, dense pipe. This new "pipe within a pipe" has a life span comparable to that of a new pipe i. Over 13,000km of CIPP linings have been installed worldwide since the introduction of the process in 1971. However, existing design methodologies for these systems were developed over fifteen years ago when the technique was in its infancy, there was little activity in the market place, and understanding of their structural behaviour was limited.. Since the vast majority of CIPP linings are used to stabilize nominally circular gravity sewer pipes, the prime focus of the research has been directed towards the behaviour of these systems in pressurized pipeline ii. This study aims to extent the CIPP technique to the presserised pipe used in oil and chemical industries.
