چکیده مقاله:

In this study critical thinking was investigated on foreign language learners. 102 intermediate students from 2 language institutions in Rasht were selected. Data were gathered by means of CCTST. A comparison of gender differences was done. The mean scores of male and female participants’ critical thinking were investigated. The parametric independent T-test was run to analyze the data. There were 52 males and 50 females with mean of 14.67 and 13.20 respectively. Standard deviation of males and females were 2.57 and 2.41 respectively. The t-value observed 2.97 was more than the t-value critical at the 0.05 level of significance (1.98). Therefore, it can be concluded that the mean score of male participants’ critical thinking was significantly more from the mean score of the female participants’ critical thinking
