Improvement AODV Routing Protocol

Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are wireless networks formed automatically. Communication in such networks typically includes multi-hop reinforcement, and issubjected to dynamic topology changes and reiterated link failures. This complex scenario demands robust routing protocol standards that ensure correct delivery of messages. We consider the Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol, a reactive protocol now undergoing standardization at the IETF (RFC3561). AODV performs route discovery while a route to the destination is needed, and retains routinginformation for a period of time specified by the standard. By changing the AODV ad-hoc routing protocol and packet delivery rate, Min Delay and Max Delay were improved by 20% .
