preparation and characterization of polyaniline nanocomposite by using poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) as surfactant

The aim of this work was the preparation and characterization of polyaniline nanocomposite using surfactant poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) in aqueous media. The properties of products such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) have been studied. The chemical structure of the products was determined by FTIR spectroscopy. The results show that the intensity of peaks is dependent on the surfactant. SEM micrographs indicated that using surfactant, particle size decrease and homogeneity of particles increase.
