چکیده مقاله:
Production from this field was started 82 years ago. Oil production at this field is from the extensive Cretaceous carbonate reservoirs and directional drilling has been experienced in some wells. This field is located in the Southern part of Iran, with two carbonate reservoirs, Asmari reservoir on the top and Bangestan the bottom. At the present, out of 65 drilled wells, 6 wells are directional, and other wells are vertical. In this paper we try to study the productivity of Horizontal and directional wells. For this reason, one well is selected and all steps of evaluation is disscussed. Production results from deviated wells are more acceptable than vertical ones, and in most cases productivity index of deviated wells is equal or more than vertical wells. The flow rate of deviated wells are higher than vertical wells and with respect to the geological structures and low oil column thickness there was a necessity to drill horizontal and directional wells. The objectives of this study are to gain a better understanding of the reservoir, its production performance and horizontal well performance. In this study after evaluating well testing results the well model is created and then sensitivity studies on different parameters for the deviated wells at inflow and outflow of the system is also discussed.
