In this investigation, first by trial and error, different mix design of self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) were casted and tested to find out the values of the Slump flow, V-funnel and 28 days compressive strength. Based on the results obtained, the best so called standard mix design was selected for further investigation. For the selected mix, the fresh concrete properties such as values of the slump flow, L-box and V-funnel and the engineering properties of (SCC) such as compressive and flexural strength, shrinkage and swelling values are experimentally measured ad short and long time (up to 90 days) ages. The results are shown that, use of (SCC) , can improve the engineering properties as well as the durability Engineering properties.
