خلاصه مقاله:
In this work two types of nano perfluorooctyl alumina (PFOAL) were synthesized using nano forms of γ-Alumina (PFOALG) and Boehmite (PFOALB) as the supports. The method invented by Wieserman et al was used for the purpose of covering the surface of alumina by perfluorinated groups. Nano γ-alumina and nano boehmite which were used as the supports for synthesizing the perfluorinated adsorbents, were synthesized by the co-precipitation method. The surface areas of the nano γ-Alumina and nano boehmite were determined as 265.69 and 319.53 m2/g, respectively. The synthesized PFOALG and PFOALB using Wieserman method contain 604 and 622 μmol/g perfluourinated phase, respectively. The perfluorooctyl alumina may be used as an adsorbent for organic pollutants and also as an ozonation catalyst.
