A blend namely MCCI (a multi-component corrosion inhibitor comprising benzalkonium chloride 50 wt% solution, caster oil polyethylene glycol ether, ethanoic acid, methylbenzene, andpotassium iodide) were evaluated as corrosion inhibitor for acidization of oil wells by using electrochemical polarization and electrochemical impedance methods. MCCI was found to be an effective corrosion inhibitor at concentration of 5000 ppm. Our results demonstrate that percentageof inhibition efficiency (IE%) will be increased by increasing in concentration of MCCI. Thismulti-component corrosion inhibitor behaves as a mixed-type inhibitor
