Among severe plastic deformation techniques, equal channel angular pressing is one of the newest methods to produce nanostructure materials. In this study,strain behavior of pure aluminum sheet during continuous ECAP is investigated.High magnitude of effective strain with best homogeneity of strain distribution in the cross-section of the sheet is achieved in this technique. Also, the magnitudes of torque requirement for both feeding and guide rolls are obtained.
