خلاصه مقاله:
One of the most contemporary applications for reinforced earth is in marine works. A Reinforced Earth Marine Wall (REMW) can be used as a quay wall, wharf structure or as a coastal protection structure. In this applications, a reinforced earth marine wall has to withstand against marine environment parameters such as submergence, tide, wave action and ship attack. These parameters cause additional considerations for design and construction of the structure to be taking into account. Sea wave loadhg (as a cyclic loading) can seriously affect the internal stability of a reinforced earth marine wall (REMW). After a wave impact, free vibration of the wall changes the tensile force values in the reinforcement which affects the wall's safety factor against rupture and bond failure. Also, periodic (cyclic) wave loading can affect the frictional interaction between soil and reinforcement. This dynamic cyclic loading changes the apparent soil-reinforcement friction coefficient, resulting in a change in the pullout resistance of the reinforcement and its safety factor. against bond failure. These two phenomena are evaluated in this The change in the soil-reinforcement's apparent friction coefficient (pullout resistance) due to dynamic cyclic loading will be evaluated by using established research results. To investigate the effect of wave loading on the value of tensile force in reinforcement, numerical modeling was used. A reinforced soil wall made from cohesionless material was studied by the finite element program ANSYS for the numerical study.
