In this manuscript some design and process methods has been considered for cost saving and mechanical protection of pipeline and process facilities of an Iranian oilfield development. But that part of pipeline between wellheads and oil treatment unit is in our concern. The method of transferring the crude from wellheads to the oil production unit is explained, then it has been shown that by using high pressure protection systems due to getting more confidence about pipeline, we can have a pipeline with lower class in ANSI standard to achieve about 50% cost saving.
