Statistical Simulation of the Numerically Obtained Results of Triaxial Overconsolidated Clay Sample Models by ANSYS

خلاصه مقاله:

In order to evaluate the effects of the parameters such as the orientation,spacing, continuity of fissures and also the confining pressure of the effective shear strength of the artificially over consolidated fully, partially and unfissured clay triaxial samples, the experimentally and numerically obtained results by researchers [2,3,4] were classified and simulated statistically by SPSS (version 8) software and the relationship within overconsolidation ratio (OCR)by σ'1-σ'3 / σ'3 and σ'3/σ'1 and also i (inclination angle or orientation angle of fissures) with some of the geotechnical parameters were formulated and introduced. The statistical relationships of the fully fissured triaxial sample models for the inclinations of 0.0° and 90° showed not only no effect of the orientation of fissure but also no effect of the fissure presence in comparison with the models run with low confining pressures which the models indicated less dependency to the presence of the fissures.
