خلاصه مقاله:
The Idealised Structural Unit Method (ISUM) has become a valuable tool for assessing the load carrying capacity of structural systems at different analysis levels. In this paper, the formulation of the most recent ISUM plate element is introduced and applied to the local strength analysis of plates within ship hull girders. Comparisons with FEA demonstrate the applicability and usefulness of the approach.
