Negative environmental consequences of fossil fuels and concerns about petroleum supplies have spurred the search for renewable biofuels. To be a viable alternative, a biofuel should provide a net energy gain, have environmental benefits and be economically competitive. Process of biofuelsproduction is quite expensive therefore scientists are working hard to find out a cost efficiency process. An excellent insulation noticeably reduces costs of biofuels production. Presently, Nanotechnology creates many new materials with wide-ranging applications in order to solving most of our problems. A product of nanotechnology, a coating containing silica aerogel nano composites with excellent insulation ability, provides the combination of benefits such as saving energy and corrosion protection.
