In this paper the technology of reducing the resistance of slow and high speed ships by injection of thin layer of air film at the bottom is demonstrated and after theoretical concept explanation, the experimental tests data of a case – study vessel are used to determine the effectiveness of the air lubrication method for marine craft performance improvement.
