Electrical losses and its value is one of the most important factor in planning , system studies, design or purchasing of equipments in electrical networks. Since several factors affect the value of losses, accurate calculation of energy losses value is not an easy task In transmission and distribution lines energy losses value is a function of the following parameters: - Peak Loss - Loss Factor - Location of Line in Network - Role of Lines in System - Electric Tariff - Ratio of line Peak loss by its Losses during peak period of the system - Operation time of Line Under the influence of these parameters the energy losses value varies from one case to another, in a certain network may be up to 10 time more than others. In this paper considering these parameters a new model of energy loss value is presented in different cases such as transmission & distrbution lines, industrial networks, Power plants and also electrical eqipments.
