The load-freqwency optimal control using state feedback is considered in this paper. Since the implementation of a full rank state feedback controller might be difficult in most cases, a suboptimal controller using reduced rank state feedback is also presented. A comparison between the responses of each of these controllers with the ordinary controllers are also given in this paper.
