The investigation of the damping properties maintained by application of the xcitation control systems of different types is carried out on the basis of eigenvalues, frequency domains and transient processes analysis. Some additional measures for enhancement of the small-disturbed oscillatory as well as transient stability of the generator equipped by different excitation control systems are proposed.
