The paper will demonstrate fuzzy control application to automatic loadfrequency control in electric power systems. Several fuzzy algorithms will be analysed as well as algorithms with different. feature and arrangement of membership functions, inference mechanism and defuzzy methods. Regulator operation with proposed Ruzzy algorithms will be illustrated by means of simulation on a suitable mathematical model. Simulation with several load types will be carried out. Fuzzy regulator operation in case of system parameter changes will be analysed. Finally, classic regulator load-frequency control and fuzzy control will be compared.
