In this paper, a concept of simplified decentralized secondary voltage control is presented, which requires essentially less resources for application in the electric power system (EPS), than other methods. It is called modular decentralized secondary voltage control (MDSVC), Since the proposed secondary voltage controllers are attached to each generating bus or ULTC employing for its operation local information only. The proposed control concept based on local information is tested on a number of different networks and its efficacy is proved.
