An important feature of boiler in Power Plants is that their dynamics are highly non-linear and time varying so it is difficult to maintain the desired control and efficiency of the boiler within a wide range of operation states (particularly during load changes) by using conventional control systems. In this paper the application of adaptive control system for steam temperature in power plants will be discussed.
