The stability of power system is one of the most important aims in power system planning. There are different methods for increasing power system stability in steady-state, dynamic and transient states. One of these methods for increasing transient stability is high speed single-phase reclosing. In this paper a new method for single-phase reclosing which reduces the dead-time and increases the stability will be discussed.
