خلاصه مقاله:
The overall Intersection Decision Support (IDS) research project realized the requirements, tradeoffs assessment, and technology investigations necessary to define an IDS system. The project defined the intersection safety problem, technologies and used a standard Caltrans intersection (with advanced controller) to design a potentially deployable IDS prototype system. This paper focuses on efforts on defining intersection crash problem, driver-infrastructure interface (DII), and tests and evaluation of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and emerging technologies.
